The second half of Barbara Gordon's 8th grade year will be the strangest and most dangerous time of her life as she deals with school, boys, her family and being Batgirl for the first time. With her father shot in the leg by the Barbara decides to pick up the investigation herself leading to many twists and turns through Gotham City.

Barbara is a normal 12 year old girl, ok so not that normal. Her dad is the commissioner of Gotham city. Her best friend is the adoptive son of gothams richest playboy. And she has the smarts of a collage student. But things are about to get a whole lot weirder when dick has some..... *cough *cough news.

As Barbara Gordon finds herself more and more isolated from kids her age, she realises that being a vigilante is hard work. Fortunately she meets a girl, who perhaps could be both friend and colleague, providing she get's Bruce's approval. But will the new arrival even want to join the trio after they've disappointed her?

This is my first story so bare with me. It's a story about Nightwing and Batgirl with a few other characters. I hope you like it. Again, this was my first attempt at writing fanfiction.
