Giyuu's heart hammered against his ribs, a cold sweat breaking out. He knew those eyes. He knew that bloodline. "D... Demon..." he groaned, his strength finally snapping. With one last pained look at the girl who had just saved his life, his world went black and he collapsed into the dirt. "Your welcome just by the way," the demon murmured, her sunshine spirit undimmed.
"GET AWAY FROM HIM!" A cyclone of blades ripped through the trees. Sanemi appeared like a vengeful god, his face a mask of pure, white-hot rage. He didn't care that his partner was still breathing, he only saw the fangs peeking past her lips.
The girl didn't even flinch. She just let out a soft, playful giggle. As the Wind Hashira lunged, she flicked her wrist, sending a wave of warm, sedative mist into his lungs. Sanemi's killing intent vanished, replaced by an irresistible, heavy drowsines. He stumbled, his knees hitting the grass, and before his head could follow, the girl leaned in and, thwack! playfully flicked his forehead.
"Ssh, shh," she cooed, catching the terrifying slayer by his collar as he drifted off. "Sleeeep, you're way too loud for someone with such a grumpy face."
