After the events of Mission City, Sam's parents decide to leave to go on a surprise remote camping trip and drag Sam along. They also decide that he won't be able to bring his phone. So when weird things begin to happen to his body, Sam finds himself struggling to appear fine until he can go back home. Too bad the universe hates him. Meanwhile, the Autobots find themselves missing Sam. Bumblebee wonders what he did to Sam that pissed him off so much that he won't even call him. But when Mikaela reveals that she hasn't seen or been able to contact Sam, the Autobots begin to worry.
