"Oomph!" The sound rushed out of my mouth as the door opened before I could reach the handle and my body hit a wall. I took a step back and realized that it wasn't in fact a wall, but instead a very attractive male. I looked up at his head to see a very messy, but sexy, mop of black hair on top of his head. When I looked closer, I noticed that his hair was a very deep brown that was probably often mistaken for black. My gaze traveled downward to his eyes, where I found two deep, ocean blue eyes looking back at me. My gaze travelled farther down to his crooked nose, to which I assumed came from too many fights. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips, which were turned into a sneer. "You have got to be kidding me!" His pink lips said in a very offensive voice. My eyes turned questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. "Whatever, lets finish this. I, Ashton Carter, reject you, as my mate." He, or Ashton, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? On my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school, rejects me. I guess that's how this school works, if the hottest boy in school rejects you, you're a nobody. So much for making friends, or mates, or whatever they call people at this school. I shake those ocean blue eyes out of my head and continue into the office to start my new life.

Book 2 of The Alpha Series - Sequel to my first book, The Hybrid. Kaden's Luna cannot be read as a stand alone book! Kaden Reid is known as a rogue who was banished from his pack. He longs for his mate but thinks she's better off without him. Imagine his surprise when he finds her one day. One thing is for sure, he is never going to let her go. But Kaden's troubled past is quickly catching up to him. A war is imminent. Will he lose everyone he holds dear or will he come out victorious? Only time will tell. *** "You...You are so territorial." I growl angrily, crossing my arms as I stare at him. "Blame the wolf not the human, darling." He states before holding out a chicken wing. "Want some?" "No." I grumble, still peeved as I start making my way to the front door. "I'm going home." "So, you came all the way here just to yell at me?" He questions, a look of bewilderment and amusement on his face. "Yes. Now, goodbye." I state with finality, not wanting to give away that I had missed him too much throughout the day. I had just stepped one foot out of the door when an arm wraps around my waist and pulls me back, the loud sound of the door slamming shut making me jump. I turn in his hold, resting my palms on his chest before looking up at him. "Kaden, what -" I am cut off when he smashes his lips to mine. Whimpering at the sudden action, I fist the material of his shirt in my hands. His lips are soft and his movements turn gentle against my own, muscular arms wrapping around my waist to try and pull me impossibly closer. I gasp when his tongue swipes across my bottom lip, opening my mouth for him. I forgot what we were arguing over. I was almost to the door when I remembered the leather jacket I brought. I turned back to the room and just as I entered the most wonderful smell hit my nose. My wolf started to go crazy and I looked up to see a small pale girl with black hair in a bun and pale blue eyes. All my wolf kept saying was MATE over and over again. The room blurred until all I saw was her. She was cleaning up the table when her head snapped up to my direction. Her eyes widened and she instantly bowed her head down and stepped back from me. "I am sorry Alpha Colton I did not know you were coming back." She said shaking in fear. Just then Alpha Andrew walked in and slapped her. "DONT JUST STAND THERE CLEAN THIS SHIT UP!" My wolf sprang forward and I grabbed Alpha Andrews throwing him across the room. I Knew i was on the verge of shifting but it was pointless in trying to calm my wolf. "YOU DARE LAY YOUR HAND ON MY MATE!" I growled then grabbed his head smashing it into the wall knocking him out and turned to my mate. She looked at me with wide frightened eyes and backed away. I knew that my eyes were glowing red and my canines were out but I was pissed and didn't have a good temper. When she stepped away from me again I let out a growl and she instantly froze. "MINE." Charity Andrews is a werewolf who hasn't shifted yet. She is abused and mistreated by her pack for this reason because they don't think she is anything but a worthless human. That all changes when Alpha Colton comes for a meeting. Alpha Colton is the coldest meanest Alpha that many fear. When he goes to Alpha Andrews pack to settle a rivalry he didn't expect his mate to be the packs punching bag. He has been looking for his mate for a long time and now that she is right in front of him he is pissed at what she has gone through.

#1 in Werewolf - #1 in Mate The world is at war with something they told themselves didn't exist. Samantha was born into this world and has always lived her life in fear of the world's newest predator; however, she has a plan for freedom and nothing is going to stop her from achieving it. Not even Samuel. *** I ran straight into the rocks but whipped back around when I realized I was trapped. When I came face to face with the man again, I reached for my backpack and snapped open my pepper spray. The lid came undone and a burning liquid erupted from the tube, covering my attacker's face. I waited for him to recoil so I could break away, but he didn't move. In fact, all he did was bring his shirt up to his eyes to wipe away the oozing liquid. I stared with wide eyes, glancing between the man and the bottle in my hand. Then, it hit me. Pepper spray worked on humans.
