Everyone has a soulmate. The only way to figure out who your soulmate is involves a certain type of currency that can only be earned by actively doing good deeds. The amount of points a person has can be seen above their head always. It only disappears once the soulmates have confronted the other. 17 year old Eijirou decided to finally spend his points after years of never truly trying to seek out his soulmate, but it comes with a great mental tole that he's not sure he can handle. Bakugou hadn't ever spent his points, and quite frankly, he didn't have very many in the first place considering that fact. When Midoriya notices how detached Todoroki is as soon as the holidays hit the UA dorms, he makes it a personal goal to help Todoroki enjoy his first Christmas as much as possible. But on the other hand, Todoroki is hiding his own secret.. it'll only be a matter of time before it won't be locked up anymore. Meanwhile, All Might has something big planned for Midoriya as well... but unlike all of the surprises with One For All's potential, this is other news that might blow everyone away. There are a lot of contradictory sentences in the story and I haven't gotten the chance to go back and edit it. 10/14/20: It's been a year, and now that I'm looking over this, I thought I'd add in more plotlines and having the characters *actually* be in character. Gotta admit, it's very hard to write Bakugou, so I can't promise that I have him nailed down quite yet. He's not exactly the kind of guy to open up, so I made sure to stay true to that.
