When Robert and his friend are captured by the King's men, Vincent and a little Lava Mob named Preston stumble upon a portal. Beyond the portal lies a land ruled by dragons- Operation Amenite has begun.

I am aware of how cliché this type of story is, but if you give the prologue a read, and try to put yourself in the protagonist's shoes, you might find it interesting.
