Percy's family moves to Forks, Washington when Paul gets a job transfer. He expects more of a peaceful life in this dreary and wet town, afterall the pendant he's wearing conceals his presence from monsters and other beings may not wish him well. However things are never as they seem and Forks hides more secrets than it has raindrops.

Travis and Conner try to play a prank on Percy using an object they got from suspicious red headed twins. Without fail something goes wrong and Percy vanishes .... only to end up on grounds of Hogwarts. Same story but now with an updated cover. (Just a FYI, this is after the war with Gaea, but before Dumbledore died so I think that makes Percy older than Harry. This was also one of my first stories, started when I was much younger so the writing is not my best.)

Percy had never asked to be a demigod. It was a fact that he had maintained ever since he'd made the discovery that he was a demigod all of those years ago. He'd been pursued for years by Prophecy after Prophecy, each one greater than the last. "Percy!" A panicked voice calls, sounding like it's not the first time they said his name. "Are you okay?" Percy stills, not sure what to say. His mouth opens and then closes again and his gaze flies to a scar running down his arm. "Time heals all wounds." He shrugs, a casual gesture, though the creases around his eyes and the tightness to his lips is anything but casual. Natasha - for that's who's been calling his name - studies him for a moment, noting the way he avoided the question. "No, Percy. Time fiddles with your memories and dulls the pain of the wound, but it remains there all the same." Percy's hand drops down to his side, his expression carefully blank. "And what of emotional pain? Does it remain?" "It festers." Natasha lets out a slow breath, trying to keep her face in a neutral position, though her eyes betray her concern and the fact that she speaks from experience. "And the more you try to contain it, to hide it, the more it grows. Then one day it just... implodes. Like a storm. And... all the water just... drags you under. Until someone pulls you out." Percy laughs drily. "See that's the problem, Natasha. Everyone that's tried to pull me out is dead. And gods know I'm not strong enough to pull myself out." Or Percy Jackson meets the avengers. Can they help him? Or will he drown?

Percy Jackson has been on SHIELD's radar since his first "incident," and it seems the older he gets, the more dangerous he is. Now, at 17 years old, SHIELD finally gets the opportunity to get him. First agents are sent to retrieve him, they come back empty handed. Finally, Nicholas Fury gets tired and sends the Avengers, hoping against all hope that they'll garner results. Somehow, they get him, but he's not what they expected.

We've seen how Percy has been as Omega, how he struggled and grew to be better but what was it like before? In this (Prequel to my first story "Omega of the dead heroes") it's shown how life was like for Percy after the giant war and in his 5,000 years with Chaos.
