Merlin is attacked and won't tell Arthur anything. Arthur likes Merlin, his hand servant for almost 2 years, it breaks his heart to see Merlin this beat up and hurt. Arthur is trying to do whatever he can to forward his relationship with Merlin, while he tries to find out and understand what happened to his brunette servant. Merlin is the lost Prince. Ok... Here is another story that I just had to write. From the beginnig it was just a one shot.. Try not to copy anyone! And my grammar is seriously bad, but I've learned a lot since I begun writing. When Merlin had arrived within earshot, Arthur asked: "What took you so long?" "I'm sorry, sire." Arthur frowned, he had been waiting for a sarcastic reply from his friend but Merlin's answer was anything but that. Now he noticed how Merlin didn't look at his direction and his usual smiling was gone. "What happened?" Arthur asked with low tone. "Nothing." When Merlin still didn't look at him, he grabbed his friend's arm trying to get his attention. Merlin lifted his gaze, now surprised by the sudden touch. Their eyes met and Arthur saw a sadness in his friend's eyes. ____ Merlin was the prince of Airasan until the whole kingdom was taken and he had to flee. Merlin has a secret past. One that he hasn't told anyone. His parents had die saving him when he was just a child. He had to flee his village or else the other villagers would kill him too. If he died, then, his parents had died for nothing, so he ran away. He made a home on the streets in the city of Caerleon. He became a skilled thief and swords fighter. He was having the time of his life stealing things, that was until he had to flee from the kingdom before he was killed. He traveled to Ealdor in the kingdom of Essetir. There, a woman called Hunith took him in and taught him a few things in the medical care. Years later, he becomes the servant of Prince Arthur. Can his secret past stay secret?
