This is a JJ x female reader story. This story pretty much follows the Outerbanks storyline exactly, with a few added scenes. Most of this is not my own story and the storyline is from the show Outerbanks on Netflix. Only parts that are mine is the main character (Y/N) and the added scenes.

Y/n was a popular kook, known all around. You may ask why? Only for her boyfriend, Rafe Cameron, who held her reputation high. What many people didn't know about the 'perfect' couple, was how completely toxic they were towards each other. Its starts getting to the point where Rafe is abusive. Y/n realizes how bad this relationship between the two has gone and tries to get away. Along the way, shes greeted by a popular pogue buy himself, JJ Maybank. She starts understanding how much she hated being a kook now. Trying to be acceptive as a pogue, she's goes on quiet an adventure. A foot in both worlds, that was the only way to describe Y/N. But attending the Kook Academy and being invited to benefits at the Golf Club wasn't that appealing to a Pogue. Y/N would much prefer to spend her days sun bathing with Kie, debating around the bonfire with Pope, driving the HMS Pogue through the Marsh with John B and just about anything with JJ.
