And finally Janus, a hybrid snake-human who is an expert at lying and manipulation. Could these people finally be the strength he needs to fight his horrible fate? A game. That's what it was, or what it was supposed to be. It's become bigger than that, and they all know it. The royals all participate in the game, unknowingly or not, and they are all strictly aware that one wrong move will lead to their demise. The figurative name of the game is lying and deception. Virgil is a ghost. He doesn't remember anything about his past life, but that's ok. Who needs to worry about that when he's too busy living life (sort of) with his best friend Roman?

A Sequel to Lesson In Practicality! Living together was the best and most difficult thing they've ever done, but after all the things they went through together, there was no way they were splitting up now. A new apartment, a new start... and things can never be simple, can they? Roman, Patton, Logan, and Virgil just want to live their lives with their powers and each other, but having powers just makes things more complicated than they need to be.

Four seemingly random strangers all answer an ad to move into an apartment in downtown. It didn't take more than a few months before they all realize they've been hiding a secret from one another... they each have a special ability.
