The day Vasilisa Hedge was murdered for witchcraft, she left behind three things: a bloodthirsty village, a magickal daughter, and a soul-stealing doll. Now Karina, Vasilisa's daughter, is grown up and accused of witchcraft herself. Banished from her village to the Forest of the Dead along with Hans Pinkerton, the imperious son of a warlock, they embark on an epic Hansel and Gretel story to their freedom. Along their way they discover the past and the fear it creates inside their hearts, the dangerous Fountains of Youth and Animalia, and Baba Yaga, a yaga with more secrets up her sleeve than magick, and the Dark and Light that threaten to destroy their very souls. A fairytale retelling of Vasilisa the Beautiful, Hansel and Gretel, Baba Yaga, and Brother and Sister. Amazing cover made by @seventhstar.

With an older sister gone eleven months out of the year and two parents constantly at each other's throats, she's struggling just to stay afloat. 'It was a long day at work today, love.' Days aren't long or short - they're constant. What varies is the interest you take in the activities of the day. I have formulated that enjoyment at work is directly proportional to how much you love your profession. However, there is an interesting contradiction to this theory of mine. People say that life is short. If in such a short life, you follow your passion and get your dream job (tap on wood), your months would seem like hours. How can a human possibly possess a stable state of mind while stuck in such a paradox? I think it's that last little four-letter word at the end that's subtly manipulating all of us. What happens when a crest and a trough converge at the same place? Read to find out. Cover Designer : Arunesh Singh. https://www.facebook.com/arunesh.singh.52
