It's a race against time (not the Steve) as a new enemy appears that is neither Human, Player or Steve. The Chromatic Steves have to find out how to stop this new enemy like their ancestors did long ago. Meanwhile, Sabre is trying to hide the fact that no matter how much sleep he's been getting, he has been feeling drained as of late. He just had to continue on until this slump passes, that's all. Of course, with all his friends constantly checking in on him, and the fact he lives with Time, it might be easier said than done. - In an attempt to win against the Chromatic Steves and Sabre, Void unleashes a being that is not Human, Player, or Steve. A parasitic creature that chooses a person to slowly leach energy from until their demise. Now free from its confines and with a new partner to spread the darkness around, it finds a source of energy to leach from. The odd one out in a world full of Steves. - Lucas just wanted a normal life. That plan was flipped on his head as several things start to go wrong. First Sabre, his best friend, goes missing and doesn't come back. Then it's discovered that Players are being reborn once more and Lucas was one of the lucky few. Of course that would mean something if he didn't go into the woods and was somehow brought to a new world. What the hell are Steves, this so called Darkness, and why do some of them keep saying something about 'another human'? How do they know Sabre's name?!

Sabre returns to his world, a few months after the loop. Everyone is surprised to see him home and alive. Of course, his return is widespread and almost everyone finds out within a day; after a week everyone knows the savior is back. Although, not everyone is welcoming him with open arms. He's happy where he is, with his friends, but also afraid. Afraid they'll learn his secret, and cast him out for something he didn't choose. But when an entity so powerful they seem immortal appears, Sabre has to choose between revealing his secret to his friends, or putting everyone he loves in danger... I do not know what it wanted from me, or why it was there, but it whispered many things to me. Things that I dare not even say. Does this.. mean something? Is it the darkness, or something more? All I know is that it was cold and menacing, and yet.. familiar. As if they were someone I should know. I still have yet to share this with any of the other steves.
