Bilba Baggins has returned to the Shire to find it very different from the one she left...or perhaps it is she who is different. She is a warrior returned from the battlefield to a place where the greatest threat will be not having enough scones for tea She doesn't know how she will fit back in after all she's gone through but she is willing to try. She is content with the thought of peace. The notion of living without fear of imminent death, or of something trying to eat her, is a good one. Unfortunately for Bilba, however, there is a ring whispering in her pocket, a force rising from the darkness and an evil burning in scarlet flame. And they have no intention of allowing her rest.

I do not own The Hobbit or LOTR. The Hobbit is what I based this story off of. A Thorin Oakenshield x OC you might really enjoy like I do, and I wrote the story! I decided this description needed a rewrite: Fiery, stubborn, prideful, daring. I am all of those names, always have been. I never back down from a challenge, never turn away from my choice. I am determined to find my home. And, one day, I know I will. I just never thought a handsome, stubborn, irritating, stoic, and annoying dwarf king would step in my way and tip me off that path I was determined to stay on. I never thought he would take my hand, and guide me down a much better path than I ever imagined. Check out the Sequel on my page, A Ruby's Glow. Ranked #1 in Hobbit out of 4.05k stories on August 21, 2021 Ranked #1 in Lordoftherings out of 4.11k stories on August 5th, 2021 Ranked #1 in Dwarf out of 1.02k stories on September 11th, 2019 Ranked #1 in Bilbo out of 1k stories on May 1, 2020 Rating Mature just because my editing is making things a bit gory at points.

It had been ten months, nearly a year since the Battle of the Five Armies ended, nearly a year since she left Middle Earth. Talia Russo couldn't help but find life to be a little less colorful than it once was in her eyes, especially since she failed to leave her pain behind in Middle Earth. But what she doesn't know is that her dull circumstances are about to change. Talia is about to be faced with a past she thought she lost, along with yet another adventure, one more dangerous than she could ever imagine. Note: Story contains strong language. AN: I do not own "The Hobbit" or "The Lord of the Rings" or any of their contents. Also Published on Quotev © 2017 All Rights Reserved

The Line of Durin fell, and Bilba Baggins felt as if she fell along with them. Unable to find peace upon returning to the Shire, she takes to the road and spends her life alone, fighting to protect the weak, training in futility to fight a battle long since won, and to save those long since buried under stone. Her road is a lonely one, but one she feels she deserves for her failures to save the ones she loved. The One she loved. She once thought she would find peace in death, and in the hope of seeing those she loved in the afterlife, but it seems even that is to be denied her, for as her eyes close in death, they open again - to find herself back in Bag End. And the date on the calendar is the day a wizard once appeared, and asked her to join in on an adventure.

(LOTR - Haldir Fic) Aisling Hughes has her life figure out. She has a great job working with her cousins in their family-run hotel business in New York. And her friends in the small town of Oklahoma where she was born. Sure life has dealt her some pretty hard blows, but she's always thought herself strong and capable, willing to do what was needed to help her family and friends. That was until a freak spring storm blows up, sending an unexpected (and rather large) tornado her way. When she wakes up, Aisling finds herself in a land she doesn't recognize, surrounded by people and creatures that shouldn't exist on the cusp of a war that she'll never survive, even with all her 21st century knowledge. Feeling completely out of her element, Aisling must rely on the help of the ever serious and stoic Haldir, and the cryptic advice of Lady Galadriel, as they search for a wizard who can supposedly send her back home (or help her wake up - she's still not sure if this is all real). And then learns that perhaps it wasn't a journey to find her way home, but to find herself... and perhaps fall in love along the way...

Harry Potter thought he was done with danger and saving the world when Voldemort was finally dead and gone. But now a new adventure awaits him and his two loyal friends Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. The Golden Trio are thrown into a new world filled with creatures and magic they have never encountered before. They find themselves on a mission to destroy a ring, or rather, the Ring. Desperate to return home, the trio become a part of the Fellowship of the Ring in hopes of defeating yet another evil. And Harry just might fall for someone along the way. When Harry, Hermione, and Ron meet a young girl in the Fellowship, things get even more interesting. With this new girl, new mysteries and questions arise. Why does she seem to know more than she's letting on? Why does she seem to act like she's known the trio forever? Why does her presence feel familiar? I do not own anything excepts for Satorra and her backstory. Everything else belongs to J.R Tolkien and J.K. Rowling.
