My first story. It's a sans x reader fic, so don't judge too harshly. Also I have some bad pacing issues, but I hope yall will ignore them. Anyways on with the summary! You see monsters everywhere. All of theme unique and friendly. You ask "how could anyone hate them?" When you save one of them, you're life takes a drastic turn.....for the better. Highest rank: #16 in Undertale (June 2020)

You climbed the famous Mt. Ebott to prove to a group of your friends that humans don't disappear when they go up the mountain. While walking around the peak, you trip over a root in the ground and fall forward, expecting to hit the ground. Instead, you were met with open air. As you fell down the large hole, you let out a shrill scream before hitting the ground and blacking out. When you wake up, you find yourself in the Underground where monsters had been banished to by the humans. You meet several monsters down in the Underground, some becoming friends and some becoming enemies. One particular monster though, has been making your heart flutter and your tongue get tied. Sans the skeleton. A new threat appears when a human that had been thought to be dead comes back and threatens you and the entire Underground. Will you be able to stop them or will you be used as a puppet and watch your friends die? Maybe the only thing that can defeat LOVE is love... This is the second story to "Unexpected Love" so if you haven't read the first book you should probably read that first so you aren't confused. But anyways, enjoy! You wake up on the cold floor in the old lab that Alphys had found. You felt strange and the only life form that you could find in the Underground was Chara, who had somehow gotten out of your consciousness and now looked like a normal human. You find out that six months had passed and a child named Frisk had freed everyone and the barrier was broken. It's been over a year since the Underground opened up and the monsters living under the earth swarmed to the surface in their thousands. The human and monster governments are taking their sweet time coming to any kind of agreement regarding monster rights and citizenship, but for the most part, in the less politically-active parts of the nation, life continues as it always has. In your sleepy little town, there are bills to be paid, tables to be waited, and few to no adventures to be found. So when two skeleton monsters move into the empty house near the café where you work, you welcome the changes they bring with them. You knew if you let them into your life they'd make interesting friends. What you didn't expect was that getting to know these remarkable strangers would be like coming home.

Sans has lived through countless timelines. He's seen the kid make friends with everyone, only to give up in the final moments. He's seen the kid killed, over and over and over again. Sometimes, he'd even done the killing himself. And no one ever remembers. Not even the kid herself. It's an exhausting cycle, one that never seems to end. But there's something different about this run. Another human's fallen down... the kid's sister.

If you haven't read it, I would highly suggest it--the story won't make much sense otherwise.] Sans has finally found someone he can trust--Frisk's sister, the eighth fallen human. After months of step-siding and awkward interactions, the two are finally a couple. Things are slowly falling into place--there are no more resets, and Chara and Flowey have been a lot more quiet in the last few months. But things can't stay this way... can they? Note: The story was put on hiatus early on, and updates are now very sporadic. Despite that, it's still a labor of love!

You have a routine; jog, relax, and work. It may seem mundane to most, but for you it's comfortable, easy. It keeps you in your bubble. And you wouldn't change anything about it. That is, until two skeletons move in next door, and you discover that their lifestyle is a less than conventional one, but one you're going to have to learn to live with anyway, for better or for worse.
