Because of that, one day, when they grew nearer, your people knew the time had come and you too would be absorbed by the Village, being lead - not to say forced - to worship Mother Miranda and her children, the four lords. [this story has a reader with they/them pronouns, also you kinda take place as Ethan] (y/n) was a recruit sent to find out about the sudden drop of population in a certain village, they were told nothing and were sent as soon as they could get them to, 'important work' they said. since the very second they got there, eyes have been on their back, and as they travel the village in search for a way to leave, they slowly become prey for their own fate.

Y//N used to work in the Village with the rest of the village folk who lived there with them, until one day a darkness had fallen upon their once bright home. People were slaughtered left and right. Y/N ran far from the village, and ended up at a factory controlled by one of the Four Lords of the Four Houses: Karl Heisenberg.
