Boy next door is charming. Boy next door is dangerous. Boy next door is on house arrest. * * * * * They've been neighbors for as long as Juliet can remember. You'd think being neighbors, they would have been friends by now. Not the case. They've been sworn enemies since Jack dumped sand down her shirt in the 1st Grade. Juliet Sanders lives next door to Jack McKinnon, the boy on house arrest for being the prime suspect in a murder investigation. That's only because his father paid off the judge, of course, or he'd be behind bars until the trial. The McKinnon family stays in the spotlight. Jack's mom is a famous author, his dad a movie producer. Juliet watches Jack. Whether if he's going for a swim or walking laps around the house at 3 in the morning. Something always piqued her curiosity. It takes Juliet getting locked out of her house to finally face the mysterious boy next door. And he's definitely not rainbows and butterflies. Juliet's curiosity may just get her in trouble. *Slowly editing FULLY* Note: KKKANGAROO has been really kind and has helped me edit some chapters. :)

#1 Teen Fiction | #1 Young Adult | #1 Romance "We all need someone to drive us mad." - The Wombats. He stared arrogantly down at me, a smirk plastered across his face. I sneered up at him with distaste, wanting to wrap my fingers around his neck and strangle that smirk off of him. He brushed my golden hair from my face, his long, slender fingers sparking electricity in my skin, making my knees wobble together. "Will you ever, forgive me?" he whispered huskily, his eyes intently staring into mine. His face was only mere inches from me. I just needed to reach out a little further to kiss him... "Yeah. Over my dead body." I snapped, before throwing my arms out forcefully, shoving my hands into his chest, pushing him from me. -*-*-*- He, is Carter Williams. I, am Lacey Adams. We were once, inseparable. The 'Golden Couple'. The unbreakable best friends, that everybody envied. Nothing could get between us. A part from being tighter than white on rice, we updated our status from friends to being in a relationship, frequently. We were neighbours, which meant our families were all close and even co-owned houses around our town. This, all is, until the day of my sixteenth birthday. Everything changed. The loving relationship we shared, was severed and torn apart. I couldn't hardly stand to look at him any more, without spitting fire that is. Every day is torture being around him. He was in all my classes at school and the window in my room was even directly aligned with his. So, what happens? My mother's mum gets sick, so dad and her fly out. Just them. Leaving me to stay with Carter and his parents, who are never home. We would be alone. In one house. Under the same roof. If I was insane before, I have no idea what I am now. © 2016 by LaurenJ22. (Book 2) *Contains spoilers below* "I needed more closure than what you gave me." I half lied. "It feels like an open wound someone keeps pouring salt on." His expression remained hard and cold. Almost distant. "I don't know what you want from me, Willow. You coming here isn't closing any wounds, it's just opening up old ones." I let out a sigh and rubbed my hands over my face. "I just needed to see you, okay? It's a relief to know you're even alive right now." I was begging myself not to cry. Noah shifted a little and folded his arms against his chest. "I don't know what you want me to say." "Anything is better than nothing." I said as I took a step closer. "I missed you. A lot." He peeked from under the mess of curls falling over his eyes. "You want me to tell you I missed you too? Is that what you're doing here?" I clenched my jaw shut and curled my fingers into fists at my sides. "I don't want anything from you." Scott isn't gone...yet. But he still refuses to let Noah go without harming anyone Noah cares about. It's been nine months since Scott took Noah under his wing and moved away from California. Willow hasn't seen either of them since the night Noah left with the promise to come back. When Willow finds Noah, she didn't expect what she finds. Noah's completely transformed into something she never thought she would see again. Besides the arrogant, obnoxious attitude, came countless tattoos, a ring through his lip, and a new name. With Scott still lingering and Noah's new found attitude, there's bound to be a little trouble. Way more than Willow bargained for. And maybe, just maybe, Scott isn't the real enemy.

"Tell me," he said staring right into my eyes. "I can't," I replied looking at the ground focusing my attention on my shoes. "Tell me it's a lie," He said grabbing my face softly in his hands, forcing me to look in his eyes. "I can't," I sighed. My heart started pounding I didn't want this to happen. "I have cancer," I said pulling away from his hands confirming that it was not a lie as my eyes started to water. ------------------------- With the news of Danielle Simmons having cancer, she and her father move to New York from a small town for a new start. He was walking away. "That's a very smooth way of saying 'I'm chicken enough to walk away from the truth'. Doesn't the truth sting. That you are a man-whore.That you're selfish and a coward. You always run away from your problems. Or you just go punch a wall" I spat out after him. "Oh yeah, says the girl who pushes everyone away because she isn't brave enough to let anyone in. to share something that is eating her. So tell me Lex, who is the bigger chicken here?" He threw up his hands in frustration and started to walk away. "You don't know a fucking thing about me. But me on the other hand, know a lot about you, you are selfish, a coward and a bloody cheater" I retorted. He whipped his head around and with three long strides; he was three inches away from me. Suddenly, his hand weaved through my long hair and clutched, softly, a fistful of it, tilting my head to meet his inflamed eyes. Inflamed with anger and hurt and something else I still wasn't able to describe. I gulped down empty air. He was scary and now, I really did regret opening my mouth. With untraceable speed, his mouth roughly came on upon mine. ________________________________________________________ Alexandria Merrise has had a rough past and the only person that knows about that is her mom but she is a busy doctor. (Book 1) "What exactly did you do to get kicked out of your last school?" I felt my chest tighten when the vicious smirk played across Noah's lips. He leaned toward me in a flash, pressing me against my bedroom wall. "If I told you, I would have to kill you." Willow Abernathy is your cliche good girl. Grades are pristine, homework is always turned in on time, and she never misses her curfew. Noah Lockwood is the poster boy of the term "Bad Boy". He shows up during the first day of Willow's Junior year. Despite the one year difference, they end up seeing a lot of each other. The secrets Noah's icy blue eyes hold, won't be held for long. Willow denies the temptation, and Noah ignores it. It doesn't take long for Willow to find out what she needs to know about him. He's a drummer, his family is loaded, and he was kicked out of his last school for unknown reasons. Noah's blurred past catches up to him, and things get out of his hands and falls into Willow's lap. *Not edited* +If you're going to leave rude comments, don't comment at all. Also don't judge all my books off of this one omg.
