The Madrigals are in danger. The modern world of Man has found and destroyed Encanto. The magic is in danger once more. Will the new generation be able to adapt and save the family? The family is perfect, the matriarch Queen Alma keeping a polite and balanced community and raising her children and grandchildren to be well-mannered and lovable individuals. It seems like the Madrigals have everything under control. Except for Prince Camilo, of course. How can he focus on his royal duties when the new stablehand looks so cute? How can he study when his cousin, Mirabel, is getting closer and closer with this certain stablehand, and Camilo can do nothing but watch? *This fic will [roughly] follow the Encanto plot line with more angst, romance, and focus on Pepa's side of the family, as well as some creative variations in order to illustrate the Camilonzo we all crave.

Camilo is known for making people laugh everyday, making people have a better day, he has a mischievous side, and he is sarcastic. He is the child with the humor. But what if that was to pleasure everyone? What if people loved him for his humor, his personality, but not him himself. He cares for people, he is gentle with his actions, but what if he cracks? What if his mask for people breaks? Camilo just wants everyone to be happy, even if it means behind unhappy himself. We know the story of Encanto told by Mirabel telling the story of her own and of her sisters' traumas. In this story we'll go into my own ideas of what Camilo's traumas are. As I'm writing this I don't believe they'll be trigger warnings but if there are I'll be sure to add them at the beginning of chapters and add a recap at the end so you can still enjoy.
