"I can't have you," Finnick whispered, pressing a soft, parting kiss to Rose's forehead, "because you'll always be Snows, not mine." Rhoswen (Rose) Snow is the daughter of President Snow, who rescued her from a homeless, destitute life in District Four when she was six years old. She has been raised in the Capitol, and is content there until protests arise amongst the districts. Citizens believe Rose should be reaped since she was born in district four. To keep a Civil War from breaking out, Snow puts his daughter in the ceremony. But then things go awry and she's suddenly the female tribute for Four and her mentor is none other than Finnick Odair, a fleeting crush from years ago. What will happen when a white rose is thrown to the wolves? When a mentor becomes so much more? When the poison spreads? Snow must fall. But the question is: Which one? Daughter or Father? -Covers all 3 books/ movies. -Mature/ sensual content (mature readers only!)

We know how the Hunger Games goes- Katniss volunteers for her younger sister and wins the games, escapes the Quell, and wins the rebellion. Well guess what, that never happened. Not in this account, anyways. Instead, Katniss never volunteered for Prim, and our little brave Primrose Everdeen won the games at age 12 and escapes the Quarter Quell. But it's not over. This is Prim's story, Mockingjay: Prim. This is a fan-fiction based on the novel "Mockingjay" by Suzanne Collins. *I do not own any rights to the characters, ideas, plot, dialogue, and whatsoever. Mice were common creatures inside the homes of District Nine. A constant reminder of their failure during the rebellion. Originally released by their oppressors as a form of biological weapons, it wasn't uncommon to see their descendant's scurrying the dirt streets. When the Capitol learned of them being easily slayed during the war, they modified the failed jabberjays to attack anyone who harmed the disease carriers. A trait that the Mockingjay sadly kept. To this day the people of Nine can't go near a mouse without the birds attacking. As after all... what was a Mockingjay without a Mouse by their side? ༻❁༺ pre hunger games, to mockingjay part two
