After nearly 2 years of being out of college, Nina Johnson finally lands her dream job that requires her to move from Atlanta Georgia, to sunny Calabasas California. Everything was finally starting to look up for her, but she didn't know that danger now lived right across the hall. No one ever bothered the man in Apartment 155..except Nina. The closer she gets to him the more danger she's getting put into. But how well does Nina really know her life? Her family? Her friends? Has her entire life been a lie? Most importantly, what does is have to do with the man in Apartment 155?

Set in the 1800's, colonial America, this is the story of Mercy Peters, an African American slave woman who gets sold throughout the south and ends up meeting a white man---that ends up changing her life. This story will be more raw than my other stories because I feel so strongly about slavery , and the life of a woman during that time. Enjoy. Might me inappropriate for younger viewers. Guys, I hope the way the story is written does not offend anybody. I only based the way she speaks on excerpts I read in my AP U.S history class. It gets better later on in the story. Again, I have no rude intentions in this story. I am a black person myself and although I am not African-American, I can relate.
