Peanut is a short flea-bitten Connemara born in a ranch in County Galaway, Ireland with her mother. After a tragic incident which caused the mother and her young filly to be separated, Peanut finds herself on an unplanned trip to a whole new country. There, she is fostered by a caring mare until she becomes old enough to venture out on her own.
