This day was just getting worse and worse for Danny. First, he gets dragged to Gotham City with his parents for some 'ghost hunting' convention, and then on his first flight out, he gets captured! Jazz is gonna kill him. Now he's stuck in a Fenton Tech Containment device in some strange cave filled with cars and computers, and he has no idea what to do or how he will escape. Right now he just needs to... -IS THAT BATMAN!? The Bats have been having a hard time recently. For the last few weeks, glowing green creatures from all over had been flocking towards Gotham City. They don't know what they are or why they are coming. They started getting their hands on 'ghost tech' from hunters across America, and now Bruce is holding a ghost hunters convention to see if he could get some more info. But now Tim was looking at the first ghost they have been able to capture. He had glowing green eyes and bright white hair. And he... He just possessed Tim, didn't he? "It's not possession, it's overshadowing! And how are you awake!?"

After the portal closes behind Ford, Stan is alone. Very alone. He has no idea what to do or how to get his brother back. That's when he starts to explore his twin's lab for answers and comes across something that shakes him to his core. A kid... in a cage. Danny has been experimented on at the hands of the scientist for who knows how long. He eventually started getting distracted with other experiments and Danny hadn't seen that six-fingered monster in days. That is until the man comes back and... lets him go?

While out on nightly patrol, Robin finds a very injured Danny Phantom who is about to be forced back into his core. Now that the ghost boy is entirely defenseless, how is Damien going to protect the core from others? And even harder... how is going to keep Phantom's existence unknown to his family?

Red Hood finds a brutally injured Danny Fenton in a back alley after patrol just after the halfa has escaped the GiW. He can't talk, and he is scared of any human around him. But Jason isn't just any human, he saved him. An aura of death has always surrounded him. He felt safe. Maybe he can trust a human again after all. Jason has no idea how to take care of this terrified and traumatized kid but he is certainly going to try. Whoever did something like this to a child is going to feel the wrath of Red Hood, right after he takes care of this kid first. And the less his brothers and Batman try and stick their noses into this the better

Identical twins Damian and Danny are separated after their birth. Years later, they discover each other at a summer camp and decide to switch places in an effort to learn about their lost families. Giving them a chance to meet the people they missed. If the scheme goes to plan they might just make their family whole again. ---- Just the Parent trap with Danny and Damian without the getting your parents back together part. Stumbling blindly through Gotham's night was not how Danny expected his evening to go -- but to be fair, Vlad injecting him with blood blossom extract was also NOT how he was expecting his evening to go. So it's a night of new surprises, and really, Danny just wants to get away from his godfather as soon as possible before the man catches up to him. Or before the blood blossom currently coursing through his veins and eating him raw killed him. Vlad is a man that likes to hide in the dark, it's unfortunate for him that Danny's learned to be a thing that hides in there too. From the corner of his unfocused eye he spots a man with horns dripping in shadows, hiding in an alleyway. Danny knows a kindred spirit when he sees one.

Sometimes, grief has a gravity that you never get up from. And sometimes, it leaves little boys that have glass in their teeth and punch-scraped skin with a hole in their heart and blood in their mouth, and a five-year long taste for vengeance over the murder of their best friend. Gotham claws its way into the hearts of its children and leaves oil-smears on their souls. For Danny Fenton, he is no different and no better than the rest of his fellow kids of Crime Alley. It doesn't matter if he's been gone since he was eleven. Blood has always been a part of him, so it's second nature for him to pick up his fists and turn them into claws. It's how he's been taught, after all. And what he's also been taught, is that arrogance kills, and the Joker has been long since due for his fill. What's one more death in Gotham's long list of them?

This is a rewrite of A Chance To Trust, in progress. Little Danny Fenton got his powers at a remarkably young age at the cost of his family, the GIW get him soon after. A few years later Danny is 9 and still suffering at the hands of the Guys In White, until a certain Bat comes and rescues him. Now Bruce has to deal with a young terrified mislabeled metahuman who is a lot stronger than he looks and has an uncanny ability to know exactly what anyone is feeling. The GIW, on the other hand, can't let their lab rat heal and save the Ghost Zone they've been working so hard to take over. Things just got a little more spooky in Wayne Manor.
