Meredith e Derek: marito e moglie. Dire che i due personaggi non si amino, non è corretto, anzi, tutto il contrario. Quello che, però, entrambi devono imparare a fare è rispettarsi, fidarsi e, soprattutto, amarsi. Come spesso succede in un rapporto di coppia, si ama tanto l'altra persona, ma non si riesce a trovare più un punto di contatto dopo tanti anni, dopo qualcosa che l'ha delusa. Questo racconto parte proprio da questo punto, oramai comune a quasi tutte le coppie; Derek torna da Washington, al termine del suo incarico e da qui comincia tutto. Una storia fatta di passioni, di amore e grandissime difficoltà che, però, con tanto amore possono essere superate.

Danielle had always been in love with her TV girlfriend. She has had many, many fantasies about her, completely unable to tell the woman how she felt because of many reasons. Stefania had been married to the love of her life for a little over ten years. She had everything she could have ever wanted. Two kids, Valentina, an eight-year-old girl who loved playing with sidewalk chalk and cooking with her mother. And Luca, a six-year-old boy who loved to play with his cars with a big race track that took over most of his room and chase the dog around the open backyard. Stefania always had a small connection with Danielle didn't have with anyone else, including her husband. She tried to never think about it but every time she was with her close friend, it always resurfaced. But, she's married.

this story is going to be continued from the end of season 3 and will include parts from the whole 5:07 minutes of them from season 4.
