It is the year 1904. Sixteen year old Anna Belle Lewis has always dreamed of love. Unfortunately for her, her father doesn't believe in such a thing, and she's accepted that her dream might be nothing more than a fantasy. But one night, she runs into her family's new servant, Benjamin Odell, and sparks fly. It's a typical love story-- rich girl falls for poor boy-- and Anna thinks that he's her knight in not-so-shining armor. But Benjamin has a secret, and a somewhat dark past.. Oh, what are two lovestruck teenagers to do?

When Mia Byers, Cedarfield Heights' popular girl, starts Grade Eleven, she can't help but be judgemental and criticizing of all the guys in her grade. When her friends, Audrey Spring and Stella Odell accidentally stumble upon her critique of some of the boys in their grade, Mia comes up with a plan. She would make a scrapbook full of her honest opinions and critiques about all the guys, for the sake of the female population at school (so they can refine their dating preferences) and for bonus points in popularity. What Mia doesn't know is if the Gradebook will affect her long-sour and non-existent friendship with Ethan Rayes. Best friends in elementary, frenemies in middle school, and... aquaintances in high school. Just when she thought she had a chance to straighten things up with him, there was only one major obstacle standing in her way. The Gradebook.
