Jesse Klaver is a tall, curly haired and flirty politician from the house of representatives. His life is going nowhere until he meets Rob Jetten. Tall, dark and handsome with a passion for politics. Jesse takes an instant disliking towards Rob and the proud and controlling ways he presents himself and his party. However, when a man named Thierry Baudet tries to sabotage Jesse's campaign, Rob springs to the rescue. Jesse begins to notice that Rob is actually rather polite at heart. But, the pressures of Rob's job as a politician leave him blind to Jesse's affections and Jesse outs his affection elsewhere to make Rob jealous. Finally, when cowardly politician, Thierry Baudet, threatens to come between them, Rob has to act fast. But will they ever find the hot love that they deserve?

2012, Jesse is freshly divorced, celebrating with his friends in Amsterdam when he meets a beautiful stranger. They spend a drunk night of pleasure together. Memorable, yet too soon forgotten. But what happen when Rob and Jesse bump into each other at the Parliament later in their lives?

It was all just a game, the smiles, the looks, the flirt, but what happen when the #resse becomes a world wide trend on Tik Tok? When they realise that, maybe, there are feelings underneath? But Jesse is married, Rob lives with his boyfriend, they are happy, or so it seems. Will they act on it? Or would it be just a huge mistake? Can they find a little bit peace and happiness in the secrecy of an affair? Mostly a sad slowburn for a mature audience. Includes sex, a lot of power play dynamics, and trying to deal with doing mistakes as adults. Will have a sequel with (hopefully) a happy ending.

Rob and Jesse are complete polar opposites. The rivalry makes it almost impossible to be nice to each other. Almost.

Jesse is a politician. He lives in The Hague and is party leader of GreenLeft. His passion is doing something about climate-change and that is also what his party is about. Jesse struggles with his sexuality. Rob moved to a new house in The Hague. He first lived in Nijmegen but moving to this city made it so much easier for him to get to work. Rob is openly gay and regularly has men checking out his bedroom ;) Rob and Jesse both work for the government. They're colleagues from eachother. They have a really sweet bond with eachother and regularly get coffee or lunch together. But what if they secretly fall in love with eachother and feelings get out of hand.......

Jesse left his wife very recently but things are still very uncertain between Jesse and Rob, everything comes to a head one weekend where they need to attend a gala.

It's been a year since the shipping of #resse. Jesse is going through a divorce with his wife. Rob has already gone through a separation in the past year. Jesse has gone to Rob for consolation, not realising he's been the one driving Rob and Sjoerd apart. Rob comforts him, not knowing he's the reason of their fights. What will they do when they found out? How could they possibly be together, if this was the reason for their past relationships to fail?
