Due to the immense secrecy of this cult, Mairon's true parents were not known, not even within the ranks of this cult. As such, no one could forsee what had just been unleashed upon the world. In order to ensure the desired fate comes to pass, the cult left him, wrapped in a blanket, outside a muggle's door, and awaited the day he would leave an indelible mark on the world. Throughout his early life, Mairon became aware of his gifts. Just a little. His intelligence was rivalled only by his curiosity, and he didn't care about who got hurt when satisfying this curiosity. (I'm not a die-hard LOTR fan or HP fan. If I get the lore wrong, don't get mad. Some things about both worlds will just have to change in order to accommodate Sauron in HP.)

As Yggdrasil's servers shutdown, another person remembered at the last minute their involvement with the game and decided to log in for one last time due to nostalgia. This story focuses on Akito Satoru, a single father who was forced to raise a young Suzuki after his wife collapsed and died. After so many years of being the best father he could, and helping his son through the trauma of losing his mother, Akito introduced Suzuki to the DMMO-RPG known as YGGDRASIL, which he was secretly a developer for. The father-son-duo spent as much time as they could playing the game, grinding to reach the top of the leader boards, whilst cherishing the time they spent together. Sadly, these moments could not last forever; roughly ten years after the game was released, Akito fell victim to a deadly virus that slowly shut down his internal organs.
