When Regulus is forced to tutor James in potions, he starts thinking James is not how he pictured him. When Evan starts drawing back from his friends, Barty realizes he misses him and that he doesn't see him as just a friend. Regulus' and Barty's solution? Fake dating. Chaos ensues.

Why? Regulus kept thinking. Why did I have to fall for someone like James? Someone so loud and obnoxious, so attention seeking, someone so utterly out of my league. Really? My brothers best friend? Plus everything going on at home, could things be more confusing? Regulus almost wants to hit James most times. Would these feeling ever leave? If not, could James ever return his affection? Jegulus Modern AU Fic Regulus black is a competitive swimmer. He's been doing it since he was young, his brother Sirius didn't though. It was an 'act of rebellion' as he phrased it.
