Sunny waits for Basil to wake up inside the hospital after all his friends have left, his heart full of unresolved feelings for the boy who held his hand during his darkest moment and promised him that everything is going to be okay. Then he receives a call from his mom. She's taking Basil to live with her at their new home in the city. Sunny isn't sure how to feel about his best friend coming to live with him, but maybe it's better than being alone again.

Sunny will never forget Basil's smile. Two years after moving away, Sunny has saved up enough money from his part time job to visit his childhood town during the summer. Having realized that Basil may be more than just his friend, he resolves to help Basil through their shared trauma and to unravel the feelings they have for each other. But when he learns that some scars may be too deep to heal, Sunny must confront a new Something that has Basil trapped inside its dark web. It'll be worth it just to see Basil's smile again.

Basil and Omori are very pog and I like them so I will be writing stories about them being very wholesome boyfriends whenever I feel like it to be honest. These will be my personal headcannons so sorry in advance if you don't like them. EDIT: okay so I finished the game and it was great. So I still ship Basil and Omori but I will start to specify when I write about Omori or about Sunny. Besides that, enjoy!

So this is like a omori/sunny x basil story. AND THIS iS A AU so it's not like the actual game and story line i'll go over the au in the beginng of the story lol

Basically just a concept idea i had; sunny is convinced kel must have a girlfriend by now, and kel is convinced sunny isn't into him... little do they know, they're both wrong. this is gay(ofc)so if you're not chill with that.... go away lol. sooo I wanted to write somethin about the aftermath of omori so here we go by the way warning this will be a more twisted way for things to go in the story so be prepared for that. Sunnyxbasil = perfection also I obviously dont own omori, just putting that there cause you know ;/ Also, also just got #1 on omori tag as of feburary 26, I don't really know how this works but that is an exciting mile stone I think, so..... COOL Wow for my first story this got quite the reception, still competing for the top of the omori tag like a champ almost a month after I finished it, amazing thank you :)
