After winning the Eastern Conference Finals against the New Jersey Devils, Carter Hart is excited to celebrate with his team and best friends, Nolan Patrick and Brett Howden. However, Nolan ditches him for Nico Hischier and Brett has to head back to New York. This leaves the goalie down in the dumps. Carter takes it upon himself to cheer himself up, which only leads him to stumble upon the dead body of his captain.
