Benjamin Dolohov was born on 17 March 1980 in London, England, to Antonin Dolohov, a Death Eater, and Sarah Bennett, a Muggle woman. When Voldemort discovered that Antonin had married a Muggle and had a child with her, he saw it as an act of betrayal against his cause. Sarah was killed as punishment for going against his beliefs, leaving Benjamin without his mother.
