Neil has had a crush on Max ever since they were ten at Camp Campbell. The old campers plus them two all ended up at the same high school. Neil wants to tell Max the truth but he's too afraid to see what the asshole would do to him if he didn't feel the same way. Neil thought Max would make fun of him for as long as they knew each other or he wouldn't wanna be Neil's best friend anymore. Now Neil just needs to know if he will ever get a chance without anyone else crushing on him
