Hermione felt the pounding in her ears again. She would see him for the first time since the Great Hall, gaunt and stricken at the Slytherin table with his mother clutching his arm. She hadn't meant to look for him. Not in the corridors, not beneath the white sheets of the fallen, not on the way to the Chamber of Secrets with Ron, but she was a stupid girl.

As Hermione came back to Hogwarts for her final year, she found herself spending a lot of time with Draco Malfoy due to the fact that both of her friends have been too busy with their own girlfriends. As they spend time together, Draco Malfoy fell inlove with Hermione Granger. And in love, there are many painful things. The most painful of all is when your love is not reciprocated. And will the love still be one-sided after all they've been through?
