Damian Wayne has been having these strange dreams. No, not dreams; visions. Visions so realistic, so lifelike, they seem like memories. What happens when Damian find out that they might be true? What will his family think?

The time has come for Damian Wayne to learn to get along with society, and in his father's words, that means going to a real 'human infested' public school. When he is forced, with much anger on the subject, to attend Gotham Academy, he must learn how to survive without using a katana, or brute force, when he feels threatened, and to 'socialize' with whom he thinks he has no place. He believes, soon, that he will be the boss, since he is the son of Bruce Wayne, however, because of his shorter size and his higher IQ, the other kids in his grade begin to tease him, and leave him questioning his place. Seeking to find where he belongs, after an argument with Bruce, Damian returns to the League of Assassins, to claim what's rightfully his, as the next Ra al Ghul. There, he must make a choice that'll define his future. Will he stay with the League, or return home to his father and family just in time for the holidays? Damian must choose his destiny... With all the Batfam included. Written in honor of my clearly anti-social sis's favorite DC fam and character and to all the Damian fans that feel he needs some written adoration.

Damian is all of these things. He is also facing, well, not facing. More like embracing depression. Thoughts of suicide and half hatred never stray form the 14, almost 15, year old's mind. They're always there like the demon inside him. He's tried everything from attempted suicide to slitting his own wrists. Nothing rids him of his horrible thoughts. And to make matters worse, he's scared. Scared of physical contact, scared of who he likes, heck, he's scared of himself. And nothing he does seems to change that. But maybe. Just maybe. Words from 'gullible Grayson's' goodbye letter are etched in his mind as he finds himself questioning the reality of his situation as a whole. Lost and confused, someone sacrifices their world for him which leads him pay the ultimate price. Will he remain a prisoner in his own mind, or will his thoughts be freed as he discovers who he truly is...

During his time with the League of Assassins, he was abused. When he was with the Batfamily or Titans, he was insulted and shunned by them. During a mission, he fell to his death or that's what they think. No, they helped create a weapon.... The characters don't belong to me. They belong to Marvel and DC Comics. I only own this story. This a story where Damian Wayne becomes severely injured during a patrol. Forced to stay off of his duties for at least one week, how will he handle being on a vacation?
