"But what if Clay didn't know?" I grab his hand, "Think about it. If he doesn't know then we can make sure we actually work before we tell him." He lets that sink in for a second. "Y/n, i understand what you're saying" he says slowly, "but I need to hear exactly what you're thinking we do about it?" I give him a smile. "Can you keep a secret, Nick?"

"Can I tell you a secret?" he says in a hushed voice in the ill-illuminated room. "Spill," I smiled, thinking it was going to be something stupid like he peed his bed till he was six. Those were the kind of secrets we've been blurting out for the past thirty minutes as the tiredness of the late night got to us. "I'm Dream." he said in total seriousness, "Like the minecraft youtuber." I was quiet for a second before I laughed out loud.

"You really didn't need to do that." George took us to another room, he was kind of angry. "No I did." I stubbornly argued. George chuckled as he bent down to look at me, so our eyes could meet. "What's so funny." Still pissed, I crossed my hands in annoyance and anger. "You're so short, you know that." He grinned at my face, patting my head laughing. "Fuck you," I rolled my eyes, giggling taking his hand off my head. I looked up at him, our eyes met, but this time it felt different. Our eyes admired each other. Suddenly it felt like time went in slow motion, like we were the only people in world, like somehow the world stopped just for us. We felt like we weren't afraid of death anymore, our mortal worries no longer played with our minds sitting in the back of our heads. All the anxiety built up suddenly came to a halt. ~~~~~~~~~~~ High school is complete bullshit, the movies make it seem like a utopia and i'm stuck here with ungodly workload of homework and studying. ~~~~~~~~~~~ note: this was my first actual full story, so i'm sorry if it's shitty lol
