When he was 4, Izuku was deemed Quirkless. Having two joints in your pinky toe was a sure way to prove if one was born with a Quirk or not. There were only ever 2 cases in all of documented Quirk History where someone with the extra joint had developed a Quirk, so it was with absolute 100% certainty that the doctor had informed the crushed child and devastated mother that he would never develop one. He was wrong. A story where Izuku has an immortality Quirk that he finds more annoying than anything else. Featuring a Detective Tsukauchi who's practically adopted our favorite Green Bean.

"Why be a hero when you have the power to go against the Commission? It's a waste of time trying to save people in the end. After all, you're just post poning their deaths" Midoriya sighed as he sat on the edge of a building, he looked at Tokyo. Hawks flew to his side and sat down. "I don't see why you won't consider becoming a hero, your quirk is perfect for it" he groaned. Midoriya tucked in his flaming wings, "hawks. Not everyone wants to be the center of attention" An anti-hero Deku story. Disclaimers: I own nothing except the story idea. I do not condone any of the character's actions. When the world ends, their only hope is to send one Quirkless man back in time. Back in his 14-year-old body, will Midoriya Izuku be able to save the world that shunned him all his life? And will he finally be able to become a hero this go around? Good thing he had time as a vigilante to practice.

"Even if I don't have a quirk, can I bee a hero?" Silence... "Without a quirk?" "If you want to help others, then you could also become a police officer, or a nurse." And he may have been right, maybe he couldn't be a hero without a quirk, but that entirely depends on your definition of a hero. Is it the legal definition? A person employed under agencies to deal with villains? Or is it the noun? A person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities? The media eats the Vigilante Valor's story up. His name literally meant brave, and he showed that bravery. He even recorded it and posted it online, the crazy bastard. Obviously, the media loves a young bad boy with a good heart and a mysterious identity, and it doesn't take long for him to become internet-famous.

• ON HIATUS • Midoriya Izuku attracted trouble. It was just a fact of life - the sky was blue, the grass was green, and Izuku constantly found himself in an absurd number of deadly situations. He was okay with that. Mortal peril was an average Tuesday afternoon for a Pro Hero like him. Being kidnapped was practically a holiday. Saving civilians as a building collapsed around him was easier than facing his worried mum afterwards. He had dealt with All Might's disappointed dad stare and only cried for two hours afterwards. A serial killing villain with an unknown Quirk would be no problem! ...but even Izuku had to admit that being sent back in time to his first day at UA wasn't on the agenda. Still, there was no-one more spitefully determined than him - he was going to make the most of it. Yeah, good luck, heroes and villains alike!
