Derek is cursed with some sort of spell, and for some reason only responds to Stiles as a result. Stiles lives on his family's cattle farm, 60km away from the small country town called Beacon Hills, with his father and their farm hands Scott, Boyd and Parrish Derek lives on the run, he's been doing it for five years. He drives the country side in his old beat up Toyota, doing farm and station work so he could earn enough money for fuel and food to stay alive. Never staying anywhere longer than a week, laying low and keeping his head down. That was his system. Derek's never been one to settle down, he's written several songs about how he won't, until one drunken mistake leaves him married to stranger he picked up at pub. At age twenty, Stiles Stilinski is one of the youngest in his field. He's nice, sweet, and a bit too innocent. Demanding that he takes a break from his doctoral research, Stiles' best friend decides they need a trip to England to celebrate all they've accomplished. He has one too many at a bar, and wakes up in the tattooed arms of a stranger with wrapped up bracelet on his ring finger.

Stiles gets turned into a werefox child with no memory of anything beyond the age of five (and a half, thank you very much). So when he smells the scent of home and security, naturally he follows it and finds himself face to face (or rather face to knee) with a scowling man (with pretty eyes).

Stiles and Derek are having the time of their lives as a couple. And though his parents Dean and Cas are at time skeptical (mainly Dean) they are happy too. But it's soon short lived when Stiles finds out he's a spark and Kate comes after him succeeding in running Stiles out of town. Will Derek do whatever it takes to find his mate? Stiles never fit in with all of the other kids. He was, well he wasn't that different, he was just like them. People did call him Wolf Boy though... It seemed that everyone in Beacon Hill knew about his paw-shaped birthmark that rested on his back placed directly in the center of his left shoulder blade. Stiles is very oblivious. He is a nice enough guy to help out Malia with her math since she can't grasp the concept. He doesn't realize how this affects Derek. He is head over heals for Stiles, he even hints here and there but Stiles is just too oblivious. Even though he can't take a hint, he does like Derek just as much. Derek lets his jealousy take over one day when he sees Malia flirting with Stiles like crazy. What will Derek do and how will Stiles react? Will they resolve things or only make things worse on each other?
