The graveyard shift is never an easy one, not even for the most experienced of CSI's. Meet Miki Romani, Vegas born and bred and the new girl on the block in the LVPD crime labs. Nick Stokes, from the CSI lab is also stuck and they help one another to calm each other. Along the lines of bonding with each other, once free. Maria stays in Vegas, going through different cases with Nick, and his coworkers. But when she finds out her daughter comes down with her adoptive family, so does a man of her past. Can she get the help from Nick or must she have to save her daughter alone?
