A random idea (Again). Bear with me. AU. Lan Wangji, the second heir to Gusu Lan fakes his death and hides in a monastery in Moling after being poisoned by his brother's right hand man, Meng yao. Lan Wangji's spiritual powers are gone as he had to lock his meridians to prevent the spread of the Yin poison which could potentially shatter his golden core. Lan Wangji has never met Wei Wuxian or the infamous Yiling Laozu, one of the unsung heroes of the Sunshot Campaign. Everyone feared him. Lan Wangji is weary of him.
