Nightmare and Dream are the protectors of the sun and moon tree. Nightmare had enough of the constant abuse that the villagers had gave him. So he ate the dark apples. But before that he met Cross in one of his dreams. Cross wished to meet Nightmare. He was fond of Nightmares company. But if he once found Nightmare. It didn't look pretty. Not the small skeleton he used to be... Edit: This is just a project. And I came up the idea originally from Empireverse AU itself! And yes I am aware it's another multiverse so I'm not mistaking it as an AU. It's plotline isn't the same. But the majestic vibe inspired me. So I decided to do this project. Honestly Dream, and Nightmare looked epic in the flesh. But yesssh.

Nightmare thought did not like Cross. His constant "affection" and that weird name"senpai" that he always called him. When Cross gets hurt after trying to protect Nightmare, however, The Crew decides to retreat to the Darkosphere. But, after Cross is healed, he notices something off with Nightmare. He wouldn't come out of his room...
