And she definiatly didn't expect her cousin to hand around with a swinging hybrid teen who is named after a bug.

This is a story, about a ten-year-old boy called Cree, who was raised by a family of dragons. His heart is set on staying with his dragon family, but a band of pirates have captured his best friend Wilder. Can Cree rescue his friend and convince his family that he can survive in the wild without wings, or will they send him back to the Viking village where they found him? Humans are hunting the dragons to extinction. Will Cree choose the side of his own kind and kill the dragons? Or will he help his dragon family fight against his own kind?
