The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, is an American children's novel written by author L. Frank Baum and illustrated by W. W. Denslow, originally published by the George M. Hill Company in Chicago on May 17, 1900. It has since been reprinted on numerous occasions, most often under the title The Wizard of Oz, which is the title of the popular 1902 Broadway musical as well as the iconic 1939 musical film adaptation. The story chronicles the adventures of a young farm girl named Dorothy in the magical Land of Oz, after she and her pet dog Toto are swept away from their Kansas home by a cyclone. The novel is one of the best-known stories in American literature and has been widely translated. Its groundbreaking success and the success of the Broadway musical adapted from the novel led Baum to write thirteen additional Oz books that serve as official sequels to the first story.

With his giant grin girls might actually kiss the ground he walks on. Next is Jaxon Smith: All those pranksters you've heard about put them all together and times it by six, and outcomes Jaxon Smith. With his curly blond hair and stormy grey eyes, girls love him. It doesn't help that his cocky smile is so big and goofy you just can't help but smile at him. Last but not least is West Reid. Even his name sounds bad. Every book has to have a bad boy, and this just happens to be the baddest boy is Pacifico Vultures. His dark hair and, yet again, stormy colored eyes bring all girls within a five-mile radius in toward him. Not only that but America also meets a cute lifeguard on the beach. His name's John Thomas Bales, and he's the only one with green eyes. His hair is dark and his smile is bright. He's a shy and cute guy who just can't stand being away from America. Oh and did her ex-boyfriend coming back into her life come up? Spoiler: he does. Somewhere along the way, these five boys end up falling for the unique and sarcastic America Wilde. The question is simple, really. But it's hard at the same time. Which one will win her heart? ~*~ Unedited and written in seventh grade as a fair warning!

"Aww, poor little player doesn't have anyone to hook up with for fifteen days!" I made a sad face but inside I was dying of laughter. "Actually I do," He said with a smirk as my eyes went wide. "Are you gonna hook up with my sister? She's so young oh my god! I swear to go if you do, I will personally chop your balls off and make you eat them, then I'll-" "God no babe, I meant you!" He said and I burst out laughing. Not gonna lie, this boy has a good sense of humor. "Me hooking up with you? That's never gonna happen!" "Oh yeah, you're too embarrassed that you're a bad kisser," He said and nodded his head. "I'm a great kisser," I said. "Yeah you are," He said sarcastically. "I am!" "Then prove it!" I wrapped my hands around his neck and pulled him closer towards me. - - - Vanessa Johnson is a crazy teenager who hates Kade Parker Kade Parker is a bit of a player who loves to annoy Vanessa Johnson. If you're judging this book by its cover and title, you're already proving the point this story wants to make. Try to move past this satirical obstacle in front of you. This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of being discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will also be moments of happiness, laughter, and love. - Naomi Lorraine, better known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her school. Even with the help of her sarcastic comebacks, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone in Dartwell High. Every day her childhood bully, Raymond Meyers, knocks her off her feet, literally. However, she can't do anything but survive the laughs, insults, and bruises high school gives her. There are three senior transfer students, dubbed the Three Musketeers: Bennett Frazier, Jordan Wallace, and Declan Lynch. All in one day, Naomi catches their attention one by one. With her snarky attitude, but innocent look, they can't help but want her. But not the way you're thinking. Oh no, not like that. Instead, it's probably the whole opposite. It's quite simple really. She'll be their good girl. And they'll be her bad boys. ~ [This story is a first draft written by a 13 to 15-year-old girl so it has its fair share of grammar mistakes and plot holes.] Wattys 2015 Talk of the Town Award Second Place Story of 2015 Best Humor and Overall Points of The Fiction Awards 2016 Third in the Writers Awards 2016 Highest Ranks: #1 Humor, #1 Teen Fiction
