Hierbei handelt es sich um die Fortsetzung meiner Geschichte "A Court of Light and Sorrow (ACOTAR Fanfiction, Teil 1 von 3)". Nachdem June aus der Zwischenwelt zurückgekehrt ist, sieht sie sich mit einigen Herausforderungen konfrontiert, die mit ihrem neugewonnenen Leben einhergehen. Schnell muss sie feststellen, dass ihre lang zurückliegende Vergangenheit doch nicht so abgeschlossen ist, wie sie bisher dachte. Azriel versucht sie gemeinsam mit dem inneren Kreis dabei so gut wie möglich zu unterstützen, doch dies gestaltet sich aufgrund der verwirrenden Gefühle, die der Schattensänger für die ehemalige Samathan hegt, komplizierter als gedacht. Als schließlich ihr ehemaliger Kollege Perry auftaucht, muss June einsehen, dass es vor ihrer Vergangenheit kein Entrinnen gibt.
