Ruthless strategies and calculated moves determine power and success in the world of high-stakes corporate mergers. Lingling Sirilak Kwong, the unyielding CEO of a thriving tech empire, knows this better than anyone. With an ice-cold demeanor and a mind sharp enough to cut through the toughest business challenges, she's the leader everyone respects - and fears. But when a merger with a prestigious company brings Orm into her life, Lingling finds herself facing an unexpected dilemma. Orm Kornnaphat Sethratanapong, the shy and intellectual daughter of her merger partner, has never been interested in the cutthroat world of business. She is a woman of quiet brilliance, her heart and mind consumed by the world of science. To her, the corporate world is a foreign land, filled with rules she doesn't care to understand. Her father, however, has other plans, and the future of the company depends on Orm stepping into the role of CEO - a responsibility that Orm refuses to accept. Lingling's challenge is clear: she must turn Orm from a reserved, nerdy woman into the powerful, confident CEO her father demands. But will the icy CEO and the reluctant heir ever see eye to eye? Or will their clash of worlds lead them both to a surprising transformation - one that neither could have anticipated? In this tale of ambition, transformation, and unlikely alliances, Lingling and Orm must navigate the blurred lines between personal desires and corporate duty, all while learning to trust in their own strengths - and each other.

A LingOrm AU wherein Orm, an employee of a conglomerate, develops an extreme admiration to her direct supervisor, Ying. As Ying is revealed to be the cousin of the owner/chairman of the conglomerate, she will be transferred to an executive position. Hence, thinking that she may not be able to communicate with Ying once the transfer is completed, Orm gained courage to confess her feelings without any expectations. But when destiny works its magic, Orm wrongfully confessed her feelings to Lingling, the Chairman and CEO of the conglomerate she's working for. Note: This story is inspired from one of my favorite manhwa with the same name/title. This is also my first time writing so forgive me for any grammar issues or inconsistencies to the story. I am a fan of LingOrm and so I decided to adapt this manhwa to a LingOrm AU with a different setting that's just completely based on my own imagination. (Also, posting this for my own entertainment HAHA) I honestly don't like angst, so this story will probably be full of fluff and fluff only HAHA.
