I was desperate for money to pay my rent and family medical bills, so I signed up to take part in a clinical trial, despite it being a little vague on the details. But when they strapped me to a machine with a dozen different wires, I started to get worried. After a flash, the room fades. I woke up in an alleyway, confused and disoriented.
