Hladové hry. Stačí toto slovo a všem v Panemu se zježí chloupky na krku. Již 68. Hladové hry přicházejí a já budu čekat zda mé jméno vylosují a budu nucena opustit svou rodinu a vzít život jinému dítěti, abych si zachránila ten svůj. V mém kraji se jako každý rok seřadíme, abychom sledovali, jak naši přátelé umírají a zabíjí. Nebo zde bude možnost, že budu já tou která zabíjí. Nemohu zemřít. Neopustím svou rodinu, která už tak zažila spoustu útrap.
