This book was previously called "Sweet little nothings" Jake Wheeler hates his cousin, Junior Wheeler. They were best friends when they were younger but as they grew older, they grew apart. Junior Wheeler is a sarcastic rude popular guy while Jake is a crafty gay kid. They end up bonding over their shared haterid for their fathers, and help each other out. Junior notices Jake likes a certain boy and helps him be with him as well as helping him with his dad. Jake helps Junior with his sad eating habits and also his dad.
