Jace loves clary so much that he feels the need to propose. But , there's a catch: he needs Jocelyn's permission first. When she says no, Jace goes into a fit of rage and does something he will soon regret. And it may result in losing the love of his life.

Clary and Jace are both mundanes. They're living in the mundane world and both go to school together except they are not friends in fact Jace bully's Clary for no reason that Clary knows off. Will they still be able to find love for each other in the normal world?

Clary finds out that she is pregnant and is worried about Jace's reaction. But, with the help of Izzy and Simon, she does the right thing and tells Jace about his child. They then find out that Sebastian is still alive and so are a few other people. He finds a way to get to Clary and everyone else and tries to be the new and improved Valentine. When they finally escape Sebastian, Clary gives birth to a beautiful baby. But, there is something wrong, so Clary makes a heartbreaking decision and runs away with Izzy, leaving the rest of their family behind. Including Jace. Izzy and Clary go take shelter in the Loss Angelus Institute, with Emma and Jules. While the story carries on about Jace in NY and Clary and Izzy in L.A, part of the book will get to focus on Emma and Jules. They have a spanner in there relationship and while Jules is trying to pull it out, it seems Like Emma is trying to kick it in further. What will happen if Emma kicks it so far that it is jammed in there forever?
