Jaskier was part fae. A quarter to be precise. There was an old superstition among humans that names held power, but for fae it was so much more than that. Names meant control. If you knew a fae's name, their true name, they would be completely at your will. If someone knew your true name you were nothing more than their servant. A slave. All it took was a single command. When war breaks out between neighboring kingdoms, Jaskier's father uses his true name and commands him to marry a witcher as part of a peace treaty. Neither Jaskier or Geralt are particularly happy with the arrangement. But as Jaskier gets to know him better he realizes that the witcher might just be able to give him the thing he's always craved. Freedom.

BOOK 6 - THE FINAL BOOK

They say curiosity killed the cat. Could one too many careless decisions cost Geralt everything?

Taking place after the Mountain scene, Jaskier travels back down the mountain, running into a mage, opting to relive him of his pain. Heartbroken and numb, he agrees. His eyes flashed blue, and he was gone. Or was he?

A collection of one-shots between the famous Witcher, Geralt of Rivia, and his wonderful companion, Jaskier. Note: There will be no lemons, limes, or smuts. The only explicit parts of these shots will be language.

After Jaskier's unintentional pushing, Geralt decides to tell him abput that memory that's been weighing him down, the reason why he's known as the 'Butcher of Blaviken'. Geraskier (Geralt x Jaskier) · Feels/Angst one shot · Hurt/Comfort

I watched as the group walked towards the valley. The forest held a mysterious yet familiar atmosphere that stroke as odd to me. I paid it no heed however and grabbed my guitar from my back while playing one of the band's famous songs. It was then something came to me, a flash, a thought... or a memory? I didn't know why but for some reason I began to hum a tune and lyrics formed in my mouth. "Toss a coin to your witcher, Oh valley of plenty"!. The moment I sang this, a howl sounded off nearby me. Based off the Netflix series : The Witcher. Expect it's set in modern times and with the p.o.v of a re carnation of Jaskier and the original Geralt.

"If we are to use you as bait to lure our possessed Witcher here to Kaer Morhen, do you understand what that entails?" Jaskier nods, but he remains quiet. A slight tremor works its way into his right hand, and Yennefer smirks at its appearance. The sorceress scoffs faintly, and she approaches him. There is something in her violet eyes, like a spark that proceeds the wildfire it causes as she comes close, her voice growing low and sharp. "He will hunt you," Yennefer whispers, as though she is reciting some sort of spell, bewitching as she is sardonic, "You cannot hide from him. You cannot outrun him. You cannot overpower him." Jaskier swallows, but he does not waiver. Not even as Yennefer begins to circle him. Despite the tears in her dress and the dirt that clings to her form, she remains as entrancing as ever. It's as though she's a fever dream Jaskier can only spot from the corners of his eyes. Her words come to Jaskier like a mirage, a silhouette muddled in fog. The only solid sensation coming from her being the race her words bring to his heart. "You will be at the Witcher's mercy." That should scare Jaskier. But it doesn't.

Geralt, Yen, and Ciri. The family bound by destiny, magic, and wishes. Whose good intentions pave the road to hell itself. What happens when lost opportunities reappear? Jaskier, making name and fame for himself alongside a disgraced knight errant when his path crosses that of a long lost flame.
