Humanity is forced to flee the world that they have called home and now struggles to find a new home. The path to a new home is filled with chaos, deception, treachery, heartbreak, violence and of course the ever present Zrynt. Admiral Ryan now must decide to hide away and hope they can evade the Zrynt or continue the fight. With new enemies and allies joining the fight, the future of the galaxy has never been so uncertain.

this is my first story/book. I'm not good at writing and grammar. it's about an elf/boy who eventually grows up. there are tragic events, and love and friends/companions. basically your normal adventure story. so please enjoy and help me out with anything you see wrong with my story

The Kingdom of Delon is under siege from with in and with out. Corrupt nobles and criminal syndicates cause turmoil with in. Mean while the Tierion Empire attacks the border cities. Sending creatures raised by dark magics to sow panic through out the kingdom. The kings army is not enough to stand against this rising tide. So the king is hiring Free Mercenary Compaines to fight for him. So all those looking for Fame Glory and Riches come forth any join a free company. Come to a world where magic creatures and clock work constructs walk side by side. Of Mages, Engineers, Outlaws, Soldiers, Shamans, Druids, Priest, and Paladins. A great mix of high fantasy and science fiction with a twist. Sounds like a great game right. My friends thought so. They though It would be something we all could do together to help get me back in the saddle. So they sign us up for the beta test of Under Siege On-line. An not just the game but the system on which the game is played. We had no idea what we sign up for. Now we've been transported to another world with no way back. We must fighting for are lives and a way to get back home. We can not do it a lone. For those of us trapped here it is are dawn of steel. Some will join us in are quest others will not.
