Heroes, Villains. Myths and Monsters. The world of Nuān breathes mystique and bursts at the seam with adventure. Countless lives reside within its confines, all set to lead their own adventures. Though, there are forces that exist who wish to corral the power of this land, and bring existence under its heel. Fortunately there are always those that will fight evil, no matter how tremendous the battle. Arthur Westward does not crave power or dream of heroism, but he will do anything to protect his family. But when these dark tides rise up to threaten life as he knows it, he just may have to shoulder the burden that comes with the title, Hero. Does he have what it takes?

The Broken Throne is a lightly doctored manuscript of a live roleplaying game that I am running with nine friends, each of which plays a character in the story. This probably won't read like familiar fiction, because not even I can reliably predict what turns the story will take, so please be understanding. Hopefully, having a real person deciding the actions for each character will lend a sense of authenticity to the tale, as I do my best to hold together a loosely definable plot. Who knows, maybe our rag tag group of would-be adventurers will be able to save their kingdom, each other, or the world.
