Hi guys! I'm in my third year of taking French courses and learning how to speak this beautiful tongue, so I thought I'd share it with you! I'm no stranger to learning languages or linguistics, and I'm a very lazy person with very little time. My lessons are going to be set up in a way that is: -efficient -light -manageable -simple. If you'd like to learn French, but don't know where to start, this book is for you. If you're thinking of learning French or another language and would just like to see how the French language works, this book is also for you. If you take French class or are teaching yourself and you need to review - Guess what? - this book is also for you! I hope you'll enjoy my lessons and have fun in the process! Thank you! (And please, if you're a native speaker, feel free to shoot me a pm if you see something that's wrong :) )

Learning French Bonjour! Bienvenue. These are collective French lessons that I have gathered as I am studying French myself. I am not a French teacher, nor I am not a native French speaker. I am not fluent with the language as well, however I would like to share with you all things that I have learned from this language. I wanted to buy a French book that has audio, lessons, activities, examples, pictures and dialogues. I wanted something simple but very knowledgeable. I found one when I visited my friend at BGC Global but the book was so damn expensive! So I said, if I can't buy one, I'll make one! Taran! Je parle français! Please take note that all information are not proofread by any professional French teacher/speakers. Also, resources and materials of this book are taken from public domain so rest assured that there are no plagiarism activities made during the time I arranged these lessons. All lessons are credited to the original owners and resources. These are not mine although I have inputted some from my own learning experience. Why French of all the languages? I say, why not French? It's the most romantic language and it's beautiful, although it's giving me a hard time pronouncing their words. How did I stumble upon this? I blame Alizée! To make it simple. I watched Alizée on YouTube singing La Isla Bonita. Found out she was French, made little research about French music and bingo! I fell in love with A contre courant. I got LSS (last song syndrome), so I said enough, admitted that I fell in love with the language and so here I am. Sharing what I have learned. Je parle français, I speak French. So come on and learn with me...

This book is all about basic French. This includes the words, how to use them and their grammar. I'm still editing this book because I am planning to apply as a French teacher here in the Philippines one day. Please proofread my work and if you see anything wrong, please tell me so I can fix it. I am not a native French speaker but I have been learning this language for 15 years. Format:English Word - Different French Words French Word (How it sounds like) - Literal Translation WARNING: THIS BOOK IS NOT FOR THE FOR THE FAINT-HEARTED I'm using American / Filipino phonetics. So, pronunciation that you could see varies. For example is bonjour... if you will say bonjour in America or in the Philippines it sounds like bon jooRRRrr. People give emphasis to the "R"...It should be soft. A normal person who is not from France cannot pronounce the R softly. This is why it is slightly omitted in the phonetics i provided to balance with the language we could speak. Just like the word water. In America it sound like "wotr" we say it fast with almost a silent e. but in British it's "woo-tah" and in french it sounds like "what-ter". I tried my best to decipher the best phonetics so it would sound more french or almost the exact replica of saying it based on Filipino / American accent. If you think it is totally different, you could PM me and we could discuss about it thru skype. (Best viewed in mobile) Created on July 9, 2015 - Sept. 15, 2015 Updated on May 14, 2020 - ongoing
